Weigh-In: 1.2 Pound Loss...and do you wanna join a Slimmer This Summer Challenge?

Wanted to document Tanita-Sans verdict:

197.6

I would have loved 2 lbs off, but it has been a less than ideal week on many fronts. No junk binges. Just less exercise (the mood thing has me couching it more and the Pilates cancellation meant one less strength training day) and less good sleep.

But, weirdly, I'm really happy. Seeing a number FARTHER away from 200 is cheering. Every 1/5th of a pound away from that milestone barrier is something for me to celebrate.

The Slimmer This Summer Challenge starts in a couple weeks. If you can follow the rules and think it will help you keep focused on making fitness and fat loss progress, please visit Debbi's blog for the particulars. (Can also click the badge up on my right sidebar)

I wish you all the best of luck on the challenge. It sounds like you had a good week in spite of a few bumps. Keep up the good work!

Considering the stress and the cancellation of pilates, I'd say this week's loss was awesome. Congrats!

Looked into the challenge earlier today. Not for me, unfortunately. I never tracked food and calories, not even when I was starting. Too obsessive for me (I have problems with getting too obsessed with anything and everything) and not something I'd want to adopt as a long term lifestyle change. This time I only do what I am willing to do for the rest of my life. At this point I don't want to weigh myself every week, either. Did it all last year, but now that the loss has slowed down, I am better with less frequent weigh ins. Having said all that, I will say that the challenge looks really great and will surely help a lot of people especially with the support it promises. Good luck to you and everyone else who will take part! I'll be cheering you on from the sidelines :)

You are making this weight loss thing look easy girl! I wish I could be as good of an example. NOT a good weekend for me, my friend, not at all.

It's a loss girl be proud of it! I feel the same way the farther away I get away from 200lbs the better I feel, it's an amazing feeling!

What fun to see the numbers move downward ... and so quickly!
I would be euphoric and unable to contain myself! :D

Best Wishes for your Challenge! There isn't any doubt in my mind that you'll reach your goal.

Woot I've lost exactly 1.2 pounds this week myself! I am glad for you as I am glad for myself too.
It's good that you're happy even if you did not meet your goal of 2 pounds because if you aren't then you might lose motivation and after all, weight loss is weight loss no matter how many (or few!) pounds we lose each week.
