W.I.D.T.H. : Why I do This Here, asks Jack Sh*t Gettin' Fit

I came up with cutesy stuff first in answer to Jack's question. Then I thought about the serious stuff. Then I realized that the reason I set up THIS particular blog at age 50, why I'm finally serious at age 50 is cause, at age 50, I really am on the downhill side of life. I ain't gonna live to 100, and life expectancy isn't in the 90's, so I'm MORE THAN HALF PAST the sum years of my life.

I'm running out of time to do the things I've wanted to do and matter, and if I don't tackle THIS issue first (weight/fat/fitness/health--all one thing in my mind, ), then I statistically have LESS TIME to do the other thigns that matter to me, like living more good years with the amazing man who loves me and made me his wife.

Life is short. Gets shorter the longer you live.

It's shorter, statistically, if you're obese.

I'm blogging here, dieting here openly for all to read and mock or get motivated as they please, cause...

I'm

running

out

of

time...

and I don't want to die as the obese gal who never got the fat off.

  1. I love this! I love the whole idea, it's so powerful. I was turned down for life insurance at 38 years old because of my weight, and it was *cheap* insurance - and they wouldn't insure me so yeah, guess the numbers aren't on our side when we in the fatz. You tear this up and live the hell out of these years that you are giving to yourself, may they be the best of your life.

  3. Love this! It sums it all up, huh? The good fun stuff like a cute dress to the major stuff like heart disease - do not run out of time. Ahhh, I love your blog I could spend all day here. :) If only my boss would let me, wait - I am the boss. HA!

Thank you for visiting and adding your comment. Because of horrible spammers, only "registered users" may comment. Sorry. I had to remove the crazy captcha, and this is the compromise. ~~~I always appreciate support from kind folks. If you have nothing constructive or supportive to add, please move along to another blog. Life is short and I do not need the aggravation. The journey is hard enough. Do not make mine harder! THANKS...and God bless you big time as you progress on your own path to better health and a happier life!
